Description
This is a watercolor landscape painting called "The Mekong in Laos." It was painted while in a boat on the river. My friends and I took the slow boat from northern Thailand down the river to Luang Prabang, Laos. This plein air sketch in watercolors shows the steep banks, sometimes rocky, sometimes planted with crops all the way down to the water line.
