This is a watercolor painting called "Japanese Garden Pond." Peace and calm are in this garden scene of the small pond in the Japanese garden area of Denver Botanic Gardens. The pine tree and rocks are reflected in the still water of the pond. I painted this sketch on location, en plein air. A true zen moment.
