This is a watercolor painting of a Garden Walk. Two people are strolling through the gardens at Denver Botanic Gardens. I started this painting on location, en plein air. I added a couple walking, later. There are always people visiting the gardens to appreciate the flowers and trees.
My name is Karla Beatty. I am a painter and an illustrator for books, magazines, and the internet. My work covers a wide range of topics: landscapes, portraits, gardens, botanicals, travel, urban sketching, and more.
