This is a vintage photo of an early botanical illustration from the 1700s. It is a tomato plant from the book "A Curious Herbal." The engraving and hand-colored art is by Elizabeth Blackwell who created 500 paintings on her own in an effort to raise enough money to get her husband out of debtor's prison. The photo is digitized and transformed into a unique kind of digital wall art. Perfect for contemporary home decor! This image would look great as a large giclee print on canvas.
