This is a large acrylic abstract painting. It hints at a landscape with beach, water, sky, and distant landmass, but really it is up to your imagination! It is painted in an expressive, boldly stroked and energetic style. The colors are blues and golds that complement a bright color scheme. Perfect for contemporary home decor or loft art! A large giclee canvas print is a striking type of wall art that really makes a statement.
My name is Karla Beatty. I am a painter and an illustrator for books, magazines, and the internet. My work covers a wide range of topics: landscapes, portraits, gardens, botanicals, travel, urban sketching, and more. Most of my work is in oils, acrylics, watercolors, graphite, carbon dust, and digital images. Much of my art is connected to travel adventures and experiences. A good portion of my paintings are created on location or plein air. Some of my work is from photographs where I paint, draw, sculpt, and spend way more hours than I intend to on the computer making digital art. All images ©2000-2015 Karla Beatty. All rights reserved.
