This is an acrylic abstract painting called "Finding Awareness." There is a complex interplay of colors and shapes hidden beneath the texture of the paint strokes. It is painted in an expressive, boldly stroked and energetic style. The colors are muted and varied and suit many color schemes. Perfect as loft art or for contemporary home décor! My name is Karla Beatty. I am a painter and an illustrator for books, magazines, and the internet. My work covers a wide range of topics: landscapes, portraits, gardens, botanicals, travel, urban sketching, and more.
