This is an acrylic abstract painting called "Early in the Morning." I often name my paintings after an event or an observation or even a random thought I had at the time that I was painting it. I was up at dawn and a song Early in the Morning continued running through my head all day! So, the colors of this abstract color field painting remind me of sunrise colors. My name is Karla Beatty. I am a painter and an illustrator for books, magazines, and the internet.
