I painted this work when I was an instructor of botanical illustration at the Denver Botanic Gardens. I taught this type of watercolor painting and drawing to many people, like myself, who love plants, gardens, and art.
My name is Karla Beatty. I am a painter and an illustrator for books, magazines, and the internet.
